From legendary musicians to beloved toy brands, here are a few examples that showcase the power of brand identity. Your brand is the first impression you make when building a lasting relationship with your customers. Let me help capture the essence of your brand with a logo and branding that resonate authentically with your audience.
A personal project of mine, Wayward Ghouls is a collection of misfit creatures for misfit collectors. Inspired by the monster and gross out toys of the 80s and 90s, Wayward Ghouls aims to build lasting relationships with our customers and audience by celebrating the weird little monster loving part in all of us. My goal is to inspire creativity, silliness, and the acceptance of ourselves and others.
Wayward Ghouls uses a handful of typefaces to express itself in any given situation.

Visit the GHOULS!Designed in house during the rebrand of GCH, Inc. I had the pleasure of naming the new company Long Play - a reference to our musical roots and statement that we aren't just a brand that's there to cash in. Positioned at the intersection of Music and Cannabis, I was inspired by LPs (long play records) which not only indicated a musical format, but also a sense that this company was in it for the long haul.
For the branding, I selected the typeface and created a mark with a different logo (final icon and wordmark were done by Isaac LeFever). I also created guidelines for the look of the brand in print, presentations, and even office space.
It’s difficult to portray the intangible and ephemeral experience of music in an image. So instead of focusing on the final result, we draw your attention to the tools of music, illustrating the preparation and work leading up to the music itself. This is hardworking equipment that can amplify a world of personal expression to bring joy and transcendence to a multitude of passionate fans.
To give investors and partners a feel for what Long Play meant as a brand at the intersection of Music and Cannabis, I worked with the CEO and VP of Brand to create concepts showing a company that encompassing those values when hard at work.
Long Play relies on strong typography to express itself.
